Sam Chong
Chief Financial Officer
Sam is the Chief Financial Officer of Anovion. He has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, private capital investments and public companies.
Prior to joining Anovion, Sam was the CFO of Hyzon Motors Inc., where he was the financial leader in the global deployment of the company’s hydrogen fuel cell technologies. Previous to that, Sam was the Treasurer and Head of Investor Relations for Fluence Energy, Inc., where he was instrumental in the IPO for this leading global provider of grid scale battery storage products. Sam also served as the Treasurer of Gogo Inc., where he led multiple refinancings on the company’s path towards profitability. Previous to that, Sam was engaged in investment banking and proprietary investments at domestic and international financial institutions.
Sam has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
